Get Involved

Becoming a member of the Society keeps you up to date as to what is happening in the Tsolum River watershed. You help us by increasing our membership which assists with fundraising and a voice for the environment.

Volunteering opportunities occur year-round with the Society. We need volunteers during the first week of June to complete the pedestrian bridges on Towhee Creek. A bank stabilization project and a major new water storage source round out this summer’s activities. Ongoing  riparian planting, water quality monitoring and environmental data collection - all are completed by volunteers.

One of the most significant ways you can contribute to the ongoing restoration of the Tsolum River is to become a monthly or annual donor. A simple form and a voided cheque will allow you to give a small amount each month (min. $10.00) or you can join the growing number of businesses and individuals who are giving $1,000.00 or more each year.

With new banking security protocols you must set this up directly with your bank and ours. Our account is with the 4th Street Branch of the Coastal Community Credit Union. Simply visit this branch with your chequebook and the friendly staff will assist you.
